Here
is where we testify our faith, how we got to this
point in our lives and how we came to meet the Lord
Jesus as our personal Savior.
What is the dictionary's
description of testimony:
|
 |
A
statement of a witness under oath in a court,
usu. made in answer to questioning by a lawyer
or judge. |
 |
Any
public acknowledgement or declaration, as of a
religious experience. |
 |
Proof
of something; evidence. |
Our testimonies falls under the
second section. To
testify is to make a solemn declaration of
truth or fact. To make known publicly;
declare.
Biblical
scripture on testimony:
"And He ordered us to preach to the people, and
solemnly to testify that this is the One who has been
appointed by God as Judge of the living and the dead.
Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His
name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness
of sins." - Acts
10:42-43
Paul began devoting himself completely to the word,
solemnly testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the
Christ. - Acts 18:5(b)

"For
God did not send the Son into the world to judge the
world, but that the world should be saved through
Him."
